Daniël Haije studied law at Groningen University and became a lawyer in 2004. He is a creative specialist in the field of intellectual property, entertainment law and advertising law. Daniël was trained at an Amsterdam boutique law firm focused on intellectual property and entertainment law. There he advised - and if necessary proceeded for - a wide range of clients, from individuals to multinationals. Daniël has extensive experience in helping celebrities, f.e. in proceedings against the tabloids. He gives clear, practical, applicable advice. Daniel is a member of the editorial board of the leading IP site Boek9 and is a board member of the Stichting Entertainment Groep (Entertainment Group Foundation). He is co-author of a textbook on the game industry. He has given lectures and workshops at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Amsterdam Young Bar Association, Hogeschool InHolland, EuroSonic Noorderslag and the Dutch Game Days (NLGD). Daniël plays guitar in the 10-piece partyband Ten Four.
