Yesterday, graffiti artist Jenneke van Wijngaarden revealed her latest work Brains, Skills & Taste at the official opening party of Hoogenraad & Haak advocaten. The work contains her view on the firm's work.
On her weblog Jenneke writes: "The office has been beautifully decorated in a clear house style of fresh primary colours, excellent art work and interesting furniture. Their question to create a wall couvering graffity made me really happy. A real thrill to make something audacious, without disturbing the clearly existing harmony. It is a mix of European balls (the Atomium in Brussels) and modified images known in the advertising and intellectual property fields. For example, take ‘Sealand Geisha’. A real Dutch symbool (Sealand Girl) in a changed world. The Global Village is a fact. The saying 'No cent too many!' was amended into: 'Keep your Yens in the pocket!' Hoogenraad & Haak advocaten feels itself on the spot in this dynamic international world and really understands the legal complications for companies around the world."
