Quietly the Chinese Snow Beer has beaten market leader Anheuser-Busch by selling just a little more beer: 51.2 M hectoliter Snow Beer against 48.4 M hectoliter Bud Lite last year. Funny, cause who knows Snow Beer? Is there a giant group of quiet drinkers involved?
The profits for Snow have been made nearly exclusicely in China, proving a growing market for beer, too. A European launch cannot be too far. Yet, some trademark issues are to be expected. We also have a low of SNOW, but then as a wide range of other goods and services. As far as I know, the US based Snow Beverages also has plans for the EU. And it has a Community Trademark to back these plans. Let's see what happens!
